 Concealed Weapons Course

This course meets the Criteria for the State of Florida concealed weapons permit. The student will be provided with everything to complete the course and apply for their permit, The student will only have to obtain their fingerprints on the provided card and send the permit fee to the State of Florida along with their application and fingerprint card.

Course Length: 4 hours

General Course Cost: $65.00               

Private Course Cost: $160.00

Our firearms instructors are seasoned law enforcement professionals who have a unique perspective on personal safety. We carefully combine the academic and physical applications of basic firearm safety and deployment. We go that extra step to ensure our clients are comfortable with both the law and the weapon’s application. In addition to the exceptional training provided, we also provide application support that is second to none. When you choose to attend our training we provide you with the application (if needed), assistance with completing the application, fingerprinting card, passport photos and application notarization. We try to ensure that the only thing our clients will have to do when they are finished with our course is obtain fingerprints (done at local police departments & Sheriffs offices) and send completed application with a cashiers check or money order to the Florida Department of Agriculture. The rest is taken care of by Trinity Training & consultants!

FIRST STEPS PISTOL/CONCEALED CARRY CLASS

This course meets & exceeds the requirements for the State of Florida Concealed Carry Permit "CWP". 

OUTLINE: This is the NRA's First STEPS Pistol course which is designed for the beginning shooter.
A knowledge of firearms is not assumed or required.
Each student progresses at their own pace.
Firearm basics and shooting techniques are covered in a 4 hour classroom setting.
There is a session where the students will demonstrate firearm ability & safety by shooting  a revolver .22 caliber pistol and  with a semi automatic 9mm pistol.
During the range exercise, hands-on instruction is provided to assure that the student learns the correct methods for firing a pistol with full observance of all safety rules.

8) Holster Selection/Concealment Techniques
9) Outline of laws pertaining to Florida Concealed Carry to include:
a) Safety and responsibility by law of firearms around children
b) Restricted Carry Areas
c) Weapons Laws
d) Shoot/Don't Shoot Scenarios/Use of Force and Justification
e) Escalation of Force
f) Interaction with Law Enforcement 

Classes include above outline, application packets, passport photo for application, notary and assistance filling out application.
